By how much of the truck the contents fill, not by the room and not by the hour. A light clear runs $165 – $325, most of a property $815 – $975, and a full house $1,140 – $1,300. Send photos room by room and the number comes back flat.
Volume first, then two things that are easy to miss. Stairs past the second flight add $60 per flight, and items the state bans from ordinary disposal carry their own handling fee — a mattress, a TV, a fridge or A/C unit, tires, a propane tank. Both are on the quote before we start rather than on the invoice after.
They go with the rest of the load to Devens Recycling Center in Devens, MA. If the family wants to donate anything, set it aside before the cleanout and we will take the rest. Photos of items before disposal are available on request.
