Four towns here, four different answers

Every town we have researched the disposal rules for is in this region, and no two of them answer the same way. That is not a quirk — Massachusetts sets no standard, so each town writes its own — and four towns inside one region can mean four different plans for the same load.

  • Acton will not take construction debris at all.
  • Carlisle takes it, with a permit collected in person on a weekday.
  • Groton takes it as a fee item.
  • Concord has no drop-off location of any kind.

Each town page carries the detail with the town's own source. Where a load has nowhere municipal to go, a container is usually the answer — which is the reason this contrast matters here more than anywhere else we work.
