Waste-ban and special-handling items
Massachusetts bans these from ordinary disposal, so they come out of the load and are handled on their own. Declared when you book, a mattress is the lower number; found in a load afterwards, it is not.
One exception, and it is worth knowing before you load: the fee on tires is what the disposal facility charges to take them, passed through rather than set by us, and it may or may not apply depending on where the load goes. Tell us how many are going when you book and it lands on the quote instead of the invoice.
| Item | Fee |
|---|---|
| Mattress or Box Spring — separate pickup | $85 |
| Mattress or Box Spring — inside dumpster | $200 |
| TV | $75 |
| A/C, Refrigerator, or Freezer | $65 |
| Tires | $65 |
| Propane / Helium Tank | $60 |
The same items in a junk-removal truckload
A crew load is priced by volume, and these items are charged separately on top of it for the same reason — the transfer station handles them on their own. The rates differ from the container schedule above because the two services are disposed of differently, so both tables are published rather than one being made to stand in for the other.
| Item | Surcharge |
|---|---|
| Tires | $55 |
| Mattress / box spring | $75 |
| AC / fridge / freezer | $50 |
| TV / monitor | $50 |
Single-item rates and the full truckload tiers are on the junk removal page.
Commercial and contract rates
Four tiers for trades and property accounts. They price differently from a one-off rental: weight is billed by the ton off the scale ticket rather than against an included allowance, and the rental periods below are terms — how long a container stays, not when one arrives.
Contractor bundle
Seven days at the price a one-off rental pays for 3, with the same included tonnage. Past the included weight it is $0.13/lb, which is $260 a ton.
| Size | 7-day bundle | Weight included | Each extra week |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10-yard | $495 | 1 ton | $50 |
| 15-yard | $599 | 1.5 tons | $50 |
| 20-yard | $705 | 2 tons | $50 |
Contractor swaps
- Swap fee: $275, any size
- Swap disposal: $215 per ton, all weight billed, 1-ton minimum
- Each replacement container includes 7 days, then $50 per week
Roofing loads
- Base fee: $250 per load
- Roofing disposal: $215 per ton on all weight — there is no included tonnage on this tier
- Rental period: up to 3 days, and the base fee covers the delivery and haul or one swap
- Billed off the scale ticket, 1-ton minimum. Each swap starts a new base fee plus its own disposal
Monthly and permanent containers
| Size | Monthly rent | Each haul or exchange | Monthly disposal |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10-yard | $125 | $275 | $220 per ton |
| 15-yard | $135 | $275 | $220 per ton |
| 20-yard | $150 | $275 | $220 per ton |
A monthly container bills as rent plus the haul fee plus scale-ticket weight, with a 1-ton minimum per load. Initial delivery and placement are waived on a commitment of 6 months or longer.
Not sure which to book?
How weight is billed — and why the bag is different
Two containers, two rates. A roll-off dumpster bills overweight at $0.13/lb over its included allowance. The dumpster bag bills at $0.10/lb over its own. Different container, different rate — not a discount or a markup.
The bag also has two weight numbers that get confused, so here they are side by side. The $285 pickup includes 1,000 lbs — that is the billing allowance. The bag itself physically holds up to about 3,300 lbs — that is its capacity. They are not in conflict: you can legitimately fill a bag past its allowance, and the difference is billed by the pound.
Worked through: a bag filled to its full 3,300 lbs costs $285 plus $230 in overage. Every bag is weighed on site, so you see the number the bill is based on.
On-site estimates, free, no obligation.
Demolition is custom — square footage, materials, disposal volume, and site access all change the price. We come out, look at the job, and give you a flat quote on the spot.
One demolition job is priced by area rather than by the load, and the rate is published: concrete and slab removal runs $4–$6per square foot, moving with thickness, reinforcement, access and disposal. Starting figures for the jobs that have a repeatable shape — and an honest “quoted per job” for the ones that do not — are on the demolition pricing page.
