What moves the number
- size, and whether the shell has to be cut into sections to get it out
- access from the yard — the route matters more than the tub does
- whether it is freestanding, built into decking, or set in concrete
- draining first is not optional: a 400-gallon tub holds well over 3,000 lbs of water
