15 yard dumpster rental

Both steps cost about the same

Worth seeing laid out, because it makes sizing up much less of a gamble. Moving from the 10-yard to this one is $104. Moving from here to the 20-yard is $106. Each step buys the same extra half ton of allowance and one more foot of wall.

So the increments are close to linear, which means the real cost of guessing wrong is not the size difference — it is overage, billed at $0.13 a pound past the included tonnage. Passing a limit by a few hundred pounds costs more than the step you did not take.

What Fits

Jobs this size is right for.

A finished basement, cleared
A kitchen remodel, cabinets and all
Flooring pulled from most of a house
A full garage
A bathroom plus a bedroom
Siding off a modest elevation

A remodel that grows mid-job is the normal case rather than the exception, which is the argument for the open-ended rental over a fixed term. Which rental term actually costs less · if this is a jobsite rather than a house

15-yard questions

How much does a 15-yard dumpster cost?

$599 for 3 days, or $639 for seven. Flat rate, delivery and pickup included inside 20 miles of Tyngsborough, with 1.5 tons of disposal in the price.

Why does a remodel need this size rather than the 10?

Because a remodel produces both volume and weight, and this is the first size where neither runs out before the other does. A 10-yard has the space for a small remodel but not the allowance; the 15 carries 1.5 tons, which covers cabinets, drywall and flooring from a normal job.

How long can I keep it?

3 days as standard, seven for $639, or open-ended at $16/day past the first 3 — which is the one to pick if the finish date is a guess.

Does it take more driveway than the 10?

No. Every size we run is 14 feet by 8 feet on the ground. What changes between them is wall height — this one is 4 feet — so stepping up costs you nothing in footprint.
