Size it by weight, not by volume
You already know roughly how much debris the job makes. What decides the bill is how much it weighs, and on a jobsite the material is dense enough that the tonnage ceiling arrives before the walls of the box do.
The allowance, and what happens past it
Every container includes a tonnage allowance in the flat rate. Past it, weight bills at $0.13 per pound — one rate, applied to the overage, with nothing layered on top. All three sizes share the same footprint, so stepping up a size buys wall height and allowance, not driveway space.

Worth doing the arithmetic before you book: half a ton of overage on a 10-yard costs more than the step up to a 20-yard, and the 20-yard would have carried it inside the flat rate.
Single-material loads are a different price
A mixed container is priced on space and capped on weight, which is the wrong shape for anything dense. Concrete is the clearest case: a slab can exhaust the allowance while the box still looks half empty, so it is quoted by area instead — around $4–$6 per square foot depending on thickness, reinforcement, access and disposal.
The same logic applies to a roofing tear-off, to soil, and to anything masonry. If the load is one material and you know roughly how much of it there is, say so — it usually prices better than a container would.

The Massachusetts C&D bans decide how you separate
This is the part that catches crews working both sides of the state line. Massachusetts bans these materials from disposal outright, which means they have to be diverted rather than landfilled:
- Asphalt pavement, brick and concrete
- Metal
- Wood
- Clean gypsum wallboard
New Hampshire's list is built differently and carries none of those four. So the same tear-off, the same slab and the same stack of scrap wallboard are handled one way on a Massachusetts site and another on a New Hampshire one — and enforcement lands on the hauler and the disposal facility rather than on you. Both state lists, with the agency sources.
Scheduling around a job that moves
Swaps. Same-day swaps are available on most schedules. The useful habit is to text when the box is full rather than when the crew is blocked by it.
Open-ended rentals. $16/day after the first 3 days, with pickup when you call it. On a job whose finish date is a guess, that beats booking a term and paying to re-deliver.
Who answers. Leo owns the company and answers the phone. There is no dispatcher between you and the person who decides whether a truck can be somewhere this afternoon.
Site access. If the drop needs a gate unlocked or a vehicle moved, tell us at booking — a truck that cannot reach the spot has to come back, and a re-delivery is $150.
Trade questions
Can I put concrete in a dumpster?
Not as a mixed load, and not because of the container — because of the scale. Masonry hits the weight allowance long before it fills the box, so a clean concrete-only load priced by the square foot almost always beats putting it in a mixed container and paying overage by the pound.
How fast can you swap a full container?
Same-day swaps are available on most schedules. Text when it is full rather than when you need it gone, because the gap between those two moments is where crews lose a day.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We carry full liability and workers' comp on every job and a COI is available on request for general contractors and property managers who need one on file before we roll onto site.
What happens if I go over the weight allowance?
Overage bills at $0.13 per pound above the included tonnage. There is no penalty structure beyond that and no surprise line item — it is weight times rate, and the ticket shows it.
Can I keep it longer than the rental?
Yes. Rentals run 3 days or seven, and open-ended runs $16/day after the first 3 — which is the one to take on a job whose finish date is still moving.
Do you deliver to a jobsite outside the radius?
Yes. Pricing includes delivery within 20 miles of Tyngsborough, and beyond that it is $5 per mile. Give us the site address and we will confirm the number before you book.
